Gullewa Gold Opportunity
The Prospecting Licence is P59/2382
Large lease size which gives you heaps of opportunity
The lease has some phone signal (Telstra) from the top of lease, keeping you connected to the world at large
The Prospecting Licence P59/2382 is located approximately 60 Km South West of Yalgoo, and the lease area can be accessed via the Morawa Yalgoo Road.
The leases are located on the very prospective Youanmi Greenstone belt which is contained in a folded corridor to the west of the Salt River Shear Zone. This greenstone corridor hosts a large number of historical gold workings, deposits, projects and operating mines (Deflector), and is very mineralised. The leases are only 2 km to west of Mugga King gold project.
The Prospecting Licences are located in the very prospective ‘Youanmi Greenstone Belt’. The leases contain a substantial amount of greenstone; this is confirmed by 100k geological mapping and geophysical magnetic imagery data.
The reconnaissance photos as seen above confirm and ground truth what the geological maps and geophysical data suggest, and provide evidence that this area shows all the right indicators that it could host very good gold mineralisation potential. Greenstone belts close to granites in conjunction with faults, folding and shearing provide ideal conditions for mineralising gold bearing fluids to be emplaced into the bedrock; this lease area has the hallmarks for this to occur.
The Youanmi Greenstone Belt in the area is the host of many reported gold discoveries, including many historical gold workings along strike, and the geology is very prospective for gold mineralisation –the ground holding is highly favourable for gold.
